FKTU elected new leadership

The Federation of Korean Trade Unions held its 25th electoral convention on 22nd January 2014, electing Mr. Dong-man Kim as new President. Mr. Jin-kuk Moon outpaced Mr. Kim by 168 votes in the first round of voting (which saw no candidate with a majority vote), but Mr. Kim won the runoff election with 55% of the votes.
