Shinsegae group held its 5th annual job fair with its partner firms on 31 May 2017. The group explained that “continuous job creation is the most important and fundamental social responsibility of corporations. Shinsegae group will continue its efforts to alleviate the unemployment crisis by providing more job opportunities with our partner companies.”
A total of 88 firms participated in the 2017 Shinsegae Group & Partners Job Fair, including the group’s major units of E-mart, Shinsegae Department Store, Shinsegae Food, Shinsegae International, and Starbucks Korea.
Through this event, office jobs in merchandising, sales, design, and marketing, as well as service jobs in logistics, food, beverages, hotels, IT, and facility management, were available. Employment opportunities were given to all, including those with disabilities, older workers, and young people.
During the fair, job consulting services and advice on interview attire were provided along with an interview attire rental service.
