Discussion of action plans for 2018 begun
The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) held a central executive committee meeting at the end of January to discuss action plans for 2018 including ▲ expanding basic labor rights, ▲unionizing 2 million workers, ▲reforming conglomerates, and ▲alleviating social polarization.
The Federation of Korean Trade Unions (FKTU) held its executive officers’ meeting on 28 February to determine major action plans including ▲ reducing working hours, ▲ increasing the minimum wage, and ▲ realizing a society that respects labor through social dialogue.
